Ben Saturen

Oil painter, printmaker, muralist, faux finish artist and educator, BEN SATUREN was inspired to portray ocean life while snorkeling in the Red Sea in 1977 where he observed subjects rarely portrayed on canvas. Listed in "Who's Who in American Art," his work has been published in the "Artist's Magazine," "Wildlife Art News Magazine," and "Christie's Auction Catalog." Awarded "Artist of the Year" by Project Reefkeeper, Ben's images include wildlife, landscapes, still life, - and geometric abstracts inspired by crop circles, and have been reproduced for puzzles, posters, postage stamps, and t-shirts. His styles range from super-realism to cartoon characters to faux finishes. His artwork can be found in private and public collections worldwide including the World Wildlife Fund, Living Planet Aquarium and the Leigh Yawkee Woodson Museum.
